Maidstone’s finest and funkiest Bass Guitarist Composer & Producer Dan Murr previously played in fellow DPT Records artist Kevin East‘s live band and has also played on some of Kevin’s recordings but it is with his own material that Dan has stepped into the limelight wowing broadcasting legends like James Whale and Tony Blackburn with his infectiously funky grooves, catchy melodies and a penchant for working with fantastic female singers like Nora Blu and Lauren Cumberpatch.

Dan’s single with Lauren Discotheque stormed the UK and Internet Radio airwaves in late 2016 and continued to pick up support well into the new year leading to, so far, two live sessions (playing eight songs with full live band) on James Whale’s BBC Radio Kent show Something for the weekend as well as being invited to play on his Talk Radio show.

Dan has since teamed up with long-time friend and collaborator Nora for the follow-up single Hide Your Love which has arguably THE FUNKIEST groove you will hear all year anywhere on the planet! Dan is lining up some live dates and more recordings are being made all the time so watch out for more news.
